Another Step in My Developer Journey!

Hello everyone! I wanted to share with you an important part of my life and my journey as a developer: my Computer Engineering studies at UNED (National University of Distance Education).

Why UNED?

I chose UNED for its flexibility. As a working web developer, I needed a university that would allow me to study at my own pace and from anywhere. UNED, with its online education model, perfectly fit my needs.

The Challenges of Studying Online

Studying remotely has its own challenges. It requires a lot of discipline, organization, and personal motivation. Not having daily face-to-face classes means I have to be proactive in finding resources, planning my study time, and resolving doubts.

The Joys of Learning

Despite the challenges, studying Computer Engineering at UNED is proving to be a very rewarding experience. I'm learning solid fundamentals of computer science, from mathematics and physics to programming and computer architecture. Each passed subject is a small victory that brings me closer to my goal of becoming a well-rounded computer engineer.

Balancing Studies and Web Development

Balancing my work as a web developer with my studies is not always easy, but I believe both areas complement each other very well. The theoretical knowledge I acquire at the university helps me better understand the concepts behind the technologies I use in my daily work, and the practical experience in web development gives me a more applied perspective on what I learn in books.

What Do I Expect from the Future?

My goal is to finish my degree and continue growing as a web developer. I believe that the combination of a solid academic background and practical experience will open many doors for me in the future.
